I have always loved the English language! When I was at school, English was my favourite subject. I loved reading and writing. I even loved studying grammar! Getting my undergraduate degree in English Studies was an easy choice for me. I was crazy about the courses on semantics, linguistics, grammar and literature. I later got my MA, specializing in Creative Writing in English. I’ve always been fascinated by how people around the world learn English and I’ve spent my decade-long teaching career learning about the language-acquisition process.
Teaching is my passion. I love interacting with students and helping them find ways to improve. Seeing a student reach their goal is priceless! After getting my qualification in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) at the University of Pretoria, I couldn’t wait to start my teaching career.
